Carlos A. Cuevas, Ph.D.

 
 

Welcome to my informational website. I am an assistant professor at Northeastern University in Boston and provide clinical services at New Directions: Assessment and Counseling Services in Cambridge, MA. My research and clinical areas of expertise are in victimization and trauma, sexual abuse and sex offending, family violence, psychological assessment, and statistics and methodology. Services available include forensic consulting, expert witness testimony, specialized psychological assessment, and psychotherapy. In addition, I provide general mental health services to individuals and families. I am committed to the scientist/practitioner model, and base my assessment and treatment work on scientifically supported and validated methods. All services are available in either English and Spanish.
